Sally has Southern, American, Jamaican and New York City roots, but she'll always be a girl from Queens.  Sally has been a professional actor and a member of SAG/AFTRA/AEA for over 20 years.  She was Judge Yarlborough on “BULL” CBS TV  and Carol Martin on “FBI:Most Wanted”  CBS TV,  She’s appeared in dozens of commercials and can be heard on voice overs. She’s guest starred on Law and Order, Law and Order SVU, Law and Order CI, The Sopranos and New York Undercover. She’s worked with  Michael Imperioli, Chad L. Coleman, Malik Yoba, Toks Olagunduye, Scott Cann, Mia Kirshner and most recently with Stephen McKinley Henderson, Andre Holland and Kate Mara. 

She played “Rose” in August Wilson’s Fences directed by Broadway director Marion McClinton,  alongside Anthony Chisholm and Thomas Jefferson Byrd. Off Broadway she had the honor of appearing opposite the Legendary Ruby Dee.  She’s been nominated several times for best actress and supporting actress..

She studied improv and sketch comedy writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade.  Dramatic acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, afterwards she's spent years honing her craft with Susan Batson, Wynn Handmann and is a graduate of The William Esper Conservatory where she studied with William Esper and Maggie Flannigan. Not one to be idle and wait for a job, she's now creating and growing even more as an actor by working with Margie Haber and loving it!

Sally slowed down mid career to marry actor Chad Coleman and raise her two children.  Fast forward... She's divorced, her children are grown and she's back and making up for lost time.  She started an acting school www.TheTotalActor.com in NYC. Sally is a creator and a lover of good food and good wine so naturally she created, wrote and produced a series Called POP PAIRINGS that could be seen on BRIC TV in NYC.  POP PAIRINGS is the brain child of Sally and Sandye Wilson her creative parter.  It’s a show that's focused on Sally’s love of cooking, good wine and spirits globally, especially wine and spirits by Black and Brown folks, women and the LGBTQ community.  Currently POP PAIRINGS is under consideration by a streaming platform.
